2006-05-28 [Hedda]: Isn't TV-sofa English? Well, it's "tv-soffa" in Swedish, so now it's English too! It's a sofa that you use when you watch TV.

2006-05-28 [Hedda]: Cats can only see two kinds of colours. That doesn't mean that they see only 2 colours, but their colours are divided in 2 dimensions in colours we can call blue and green. Humans see red, green and blue (and combinations of that). This means that some colours like red and green appear similar to a cat, eventhough they are very different for us. A red cat is hard to see in green surroundings for a cat (it seems). Some birds can see colours in 4 dimensions (the normal three are not the same as humans' red, green, blue but the last is ultraviolett) and some humans actually can see "too much" colours too (For these poor people, no clothes match...). And you all know colour-blind people.

2006-05-28 [Hedda]: Both cats and humans don't see colours with the dark-vision though. That is: Most of the eye, except the center (Cats also have pretty good capability to see in darkness at the center too, which makes their colour day-light sight not so good. )
