Eh, what? The sun spots are exactly where the cat is supposed to be... You have to eat somewhere else.

BTW: If you have places or things that the cat aren't allowed to be in or do, then the cat will always do them, when it's not getting what it want from you. So it's a better idea to find another way to convince the cat that it's a bad idea.

Like putting something untasty on the plants, buy a noisy toy that starts singing everytime the cat jumps up on something (that worked for my mum!), or something similar.
