Any ideas of how to get more people coming here?

One way is to happen to mention CatHug on other sites, but that isn't not so effective as you might think.

Getting friends here, and actually do more stuff here, works much better. So bring on these competitions! Best cat story, cutest tail, worst scratches...

Get Thomas to advertise CatHug on the main page of Elfwood? Not everyone's a member of Elftown, but everyone reads the news and updates.

That is not the place to advertice CatHug and Thomas will not allow it.

Elftown is by the way about the same size as Elfwood.

Is it? I thought it was far smaller.

Elfwood is bigger, but it's not way bigger.

It has about 4-6 times more hits than Elftown, but Elftown has less graphics to show and much more active members (most people who look at Elfwood aren't members).

Did you ever advertise CatHug on Elftown? If you did, you should perhaps advertise it again, so that people like me who didn't notice the first ad will have a second chance...

If you look inte the botten of ElfTowns loggin page, you will find a link called "Links", click it!=)

It was advertised when Elftown was down...the down-page had links to elfpack and cathug and such..
other than that I don't think it's been really advertised aside from what [X2] said...

It is advertised when Elftown is making a backup like right now.

The general thing is that we want another kind of people here. There are of course people that are interested in both communities, but in the end, most of them will not be.

is it also true that only people with cats are aloud to be on cathug other wise if they dont put a picture of there cat up in 30 days or more they will be logged off
