I'm just wondering: Does anyone else have a cat that almost always responds when you say "Mjau!" to it?

[Lilo] does, but I've never heard any other cat that does that.

Eli and Yoda will do that with me :)

And Rosie too, but only if she starts the conversation.

I bet they think I'm simple, because I try to copy exactly what they say.

Nope.

Although somehow Ginny can tell the difference between music from different bands - she will never come into the room if Green Day is on, and as any Green Day fans will know, their music varies quite a lot. She doesn't do it for any other band, but if Green Day is playing, then she turns around and leaves - even if there's food out for her.

Anyone else's cat do that?

Yes! Pilpileira does it all the time and I love to make fun of her... because she never says Mjau... she says Burrrrrraaaa...
Mapache does it as well, but he likes to argue. He says Mjau!! and then I reply louder, so he replies even louder... until both of us are almost yelling at each other and the other cats run away and hide under the beds XD

Well my cat Noodles always sits and listens to me when I'm playing a nice song on the piano, but if I'm learning something new (so it doesn't sound good) she will ignore me and go to another room... sooo she obviously has an ear for music =^_^=

And I do the same as [nokaredes] and copy what she says, but I think she just carries on with whatever she's talking about and ignores me x_o
